Customer Service Center
NELA's Customer Service Center is staffed by a group of specialists dedicated to helping you. We provide information about loans offered through the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP), including the types of loans available, how to apply and what to expect when it's time to repay your loans. We also help you understand your repayment options including deferment and forbearance.

In addition, we can provide borrower-specific loan information such as the status of your loan application or disbursement.

Centers for Student Success
The Centers for Student Success offer free college and career planning resources and assistance to residents of the Puget Sound area and residents of Portland and surrounding metropolitan areas. Borrower Advocate Service
Tried everything and still can't resolve your student loan problems? Our Borrower Advocate can help find solutions, assist in resolving repayment issues, and act as a liaison with borrowers' lenders or servicers. The advocate is a last resort for borrowers who haven't been able to find solutions through normal channels. Call 800.562.3001 or e-mail advocate@nela.net.
