Lyanne Asada
Manager, NELA Center for Student Success, Seattle

Lyanne Asada has been with the NELA® Center for Student SuccessSM in Seattle since 2005, assisting students and their families in navigating career, college and financial aid choices. To further the mission of the center, Asada has partnered with Seattle Public Schools and other organizations, such as College Success Foundation, GEAR UP, MESA, Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Public Library, University of Washington Office of Minority Affairs, Upward Bound and the YMCA. She also conducts workshops on planning and paying for college at high schools throughout Washington. Asada manages and assists in developing key programs for the center, including the Mentor 2 College and the Take Aim Scholarship program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Washington.

Tiffany Jones
Program Manager

Tiffany Jones is the Program Manager for the NELA Center for Student Success in Seattle. In this capacity she leads several access and success initiatives, including I'm Going to College, KnowHow2GO Washington, and College Goal Sunday. Jones also supports the NELA Center for Student Success by providing college planning and preparation advising to students and their families. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and is working on her master’s degree in education at the University of Washington. She has worked in education and the nonprofit sector for more than 10 years supporting under-represented families. As a first-generation college student and foster youth, she is intimately aware of the obstacles facing many under-represented students. She is passionate about increasing awareness of college opportunities for all students and believes every young person deserves support.
