Mentor 2 College

Mentor 2 College® is a curriculum designed to equip high school seniors with the necessary tools to become successful college applicants. As part of this free program Center staff conduct informational meetings, focused college preparation workshops and Mentor 2 College community activities. Together, these components strengthen our participants’ knowledge, skills and commitment to the mission of achieving higher education .

Each student is matched with a mentor. Mentors will have diagnostic tools that help them evaluate a student’s performance and choices to maximize long-term student success. Our mentors are volunteers with at least some college experience. They may be college students, or current or retired professionals. Each mentor is trained and supervised by professional Center staff. Mentors meet regularly with their assigned students at the Center, providing them with coaching and support to reach their college goals.
