The NELA Centers for Student Success in Seattle and Portland will close on or about Sept. 30, 2013.
Please make a note of the resulting changes in our programming:
Mentor 2 College
The current Mentor 2 College class of 2012-2013 will complete its scheduled program of activities. Current Mentor 2 College student-participants will continue to receive guidance and support in completing the college admissions and financial aid process with the goal of helping them enroll in college. Mentors will continue to meet regularly with their students to support them on their path to realizing their college dreams.
We regret that we will not be able to assist future classes of students through Mentor 2 College, but we are committed to completing the work we’ve begun with the 186 students now participating in Mentor 2 College to enhance their opportunities for access to and success in higher education.
We thank the volunteer mentors, parents and community organizations that have supported Mentor 2 College and ask them for their continued support to ensure the success of this final class of Mentor 2 College participants.
Contact the Seattle or Portland Centers for additional information.
